UNIVERSAL MUSIC

Producer

As a teen, I wanted to be like Dr. Dre. With that goal in mind, I made the decision to leave school at the age of 17. One thing led to another, and before I knew it, I found myself running a recording studio in the heart of Paris.

In this role, I had the opportunity to work with some of the top French and international singers, musicians, and record labels. Additionally, I began developing my own independent record label, which served as a talent incubator for up-and-coming artists.

My work as a producer involved accompanying artists from the earliest stages of their projects, taking them from the initial chords and ideas and turn them into full songs, EPs, and albums... But my role went far beyond just producing music. Through this work, I gained valuable insights into many other areas of the entertainment industry from video production to web development, communication, and social media management.

These skills proved to be invaluable in helping me to create a complete experience for the artists I worked with, from the initial concept all the way through to the release of their records.

I am proud of the work I have done in this field, and would like to share a few selected examples of my projects with you.

Mister Mystère by -M-

Recording & Mixing "Mister Mystere" was a transformative experience that pushed my skills as an engineer to the limit and put me on par with the best in the industry. The project marked a significant musical turn in Matthieu Chedid's career and was highly praised by critics. The album was not only a personal milestone for me, but also a showcase of Chedid's versatility as an artist.

22 by Lily Allen feat. Ours

"Vingt Deux” a collaboration between British pop artist Lily Allen and French singer Ours (Charles Souchon), was a standout success. The track was featured on Allen's French release of her album "It's Not Me," solidifying the interesting cross-cultural partnership between the two artists.

Folie Douce by Chat

"Folie Douce," by Chat, was my debut album with a major record label. With the guidance of our artistic director Jorge Fernandez, Charlene Juarez, Joseph Chédid, and I were given ample creative freedom, resulting in a critically acclaimed masterpiece.
